The 10 short films featured in the Facing Change Exhibition were produced for Genio by Sam Whelan-Curtin and Fiona Murphy. The films demonstrate the impact of some of the work resulting from the collaboration between Government and Genio and feature the experiences of people who have been supported to move from institutional settings to live as independently as possible in their own communities. Some of the stories also explore how appropriate, personalised supports in the community enabled people to avoid institutional care.
